Okay, moms. If your daughter has been dropping hints about a sleepover birthday (or, let's be honest, flat-out begging), this is the one to screenshot.
Forget sleeping bags on the living room floor and a flashlight with dying batteries. The 2026 sleepover gives every girl her own little tent, a fluffy mattress, bow pillows, a lantern and a chalkboard sign with her name on it. Yes, really. And yes, you can have it right here on Long Island.
This party is the real deal, sent to us as a Long Island celebration submitted to Celebrella. Magical Slumber Parties, a slumber party company based in Islip Terrace, took it all the way out east to the Hamptons for a birthday girl turning 10. Their word for the vibe? "A little coquette magic." We'd say they nailed it.
What Is a Coquette Slumber Party?
Bows. On everything. If you live with a tween, you already know. "Coquette" is the look she's been saving all year: satin ribbons, ruffles, soft pastels and a bow on anything that holds still. Turn that into a sleepover and you get tents that look like they came out of a storybook, not the garage.
Magical Slumber Parties summed up this night as "Soft blue dreams, pretty bows, and the sweetest sleepover setup for an unforgettable night!" Keep scrolling. They weren't exaggerating.
The Details We Can't Stop Looking At
- The tents. Wooden A-frames draped in white and pale blue sheer fabric, twinkling with string lights and tied together with a garland of white roses and greenery.
- The bow. The birthday girl's tent wears a giant blue satin bow on top, so everyone knows whose night it is. Peak coquette.
- The bedding. Plush blue and cream mattresses, with blue-and-white toile for the guest of honor. Then pillows on pillows: navy velvet, bow print, and pillows actually shaped like bows.
- The glow. Every tent gets a little wooden tray with a lantern tied in blue ribbon. The birthday spot adds a light-up "10" and a cordless lamp for late-night giggles.
- The name signs. A chalkboard sign with each girl's name hangs at the top of her tent. No fighting over spots. (Moms, you know.)
- The floor. Faux-fur rugs, because nobody wants cold toes on a 2 a.m. bathroom run.
- Pick two colors and use them everywhere. Here it's soft blue and white, right down to the ribbon on the lanterns. It's the easiest way to make a party look pulled together.
- Give every girl her own spot. A name sign and a little tray of goodies, and suddenly every guest feels like a VIP.
- Make the birthday tent the star. Bigger bow, special print, light-up number. She'll want pictures in it. Lots of pictures.
